We report three cases in which the air leak point was successfully sealed using a combination therapy of the thoracographic fibrin glue sealing method (TGF) and autologous blood. Many previous studies have reported the usefulness of either TGF or autologous blood. When performing TGF, it is important to locate the leak. By supplying additional autologous blood concurrently with TGF, adhesion agents can be injected over a wider area to enhance the efficacy of the fibrin glue. The combination therapy of TGF and autologous blood can be readily administered for intractable pneumothorax with a high surgical risk due to poor performance status or complications. The combination therapy of TGF and autologous blood can be an effective treatment option for intractable pneumothorax.
