ABSTRACT

A 38-year-old woman, who had been diagnosed with Sjögren syndrome at the age of 35, consulted our hospital because of recurrent hemoptysis. Computed tomography scans of her chest showed consolidated shadows with bronchiectasis in the right middle lobe and left lingular segment, and multiple bilateral ground-glass opacities with tiny nodules in the lower lobe. She spat blood several times during follow-up, and partial resection of the shadow in the middle lobe and a nodule in the right lower lobe was performed with video-assisted thoracic surgery for biopsy. Pathological examination for both sites revealed pulmonary MALT lymphoma. In this report, we described a case of MALT lymphoma of the lungs, which showed recurrent hemoptysis and various chest radiological findings.
