ABSTRACT

A 52-year-old woman was diagnosed as having Crohn's disease in 20XX and underwent repeated remissions and exacerbations. A right lower lobectomy was performed in 20XX+4 and a left upper lobectomy in 20XX+13 for lung adenocarcinoma. Although her computed tomography image did not show abnormal findings, the surgical specimen revealed epithelioid cell granuloma in the bronchioles and alveoli. We diagnosed an extraintestinal manifestation of Crohn's disease. Reports of pulmonary lesions in a patient with Crohn's disease are rare. We report a rare case of subclinical epithelioid cell granuloma with Crohn's disease.
