ABSTRACT

A 74-year-old female was admitted to our hospital with rash that worsened as the thymoma progressed. A skin biopsy was performed, and histopathological examination revealed a graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)-like reaction. She was diagnosed with thymoma-associated multiorgan autoimmunity (TAMA). TAMA is a rare disease that has been recently reported in the literature and is a paraneoplastic syndrome associated with thymoma. This disease has a poor prognosis, and there is no established treatment at present. We describe a case of TAMA with skin lesions that was successfully treated with chemotherapy.
