Abstract |
In some cases where patients have had head injuries, there are patients who tend to undergo medical treatment for a long time even though there is no organic brain damage. These patients tend to change doctors often and to be hospitalized repeated. Many writers have reported on this subject. Dr. Miller said "The onset of the neurosis had a inversely proportional relation with traumatic disease severity". When someone is injured either accidently or intentionally by another person the injured person has the right to demand compensation for the damage to both their body and mind. Sometimes the victim takes advantage of their injury and tries to continue to collect compensation long after the injuries have healed. I will be giving some examples of compensation neurosis from my experience of being the psychiatrist for prosecution in law suits where the patient is seeking more compensation. |
