Abstract Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder in which social communication disorders and limited and repetitive patterns of behavior are prominent. Rehabilitation for children with ASD offers: behavioral approaches, developmental approaches, educational approaches, social relations approaches, psychological approaches, and others depending on the child's characteristics. Based of these approaches, we will introduce the intervention methods applied in clinical practice in Japan. Many studies that have been conducted on the effects of interventions on children with ASD are cited. In recent years, there have been reports showing the effects of interventions using not only performance achievement but also neuropsychological technique.
