Abstract |
As the results of our research about TMT-J that 145 patients with traumatic brain injury (TBI) performed in our hospital, we found that 23 patients (15.9%) couldn't complete TMT-J and 85 patients (58.6%) showed low scores (<2SD), of which 80 patients had one or more other cognitive symptoms. It is suggested that attention disorders of patients with TBI are very various. We reported 2 cases with TBI; one was severe and he was set that he stayed safely in the hospital as his first goal. The other case received our group program for learning his information about sequences of TBI and getting some strategies for them. There were differences between the cases, so we need multiple rehabilitation programs, not only one rigid program. Recently, developing adaptation capacity with improving self-awareness by psychoeducation has been focused about the rehabilitation of this area. It should be considered that specific methods of these programs will be discussed more. |
