Abstract |
Action disorders caused by damage to the medial aspect of the frontal lobe are disorders that make it difficult to inhibit a person from doing an inappropriate action. These action disorders manifest themselves in various aspects, ranging from the grasping reflex, which is an impairment in the inhibition of primitive reflex, to collecting behavior, in which the patient collects objects that others may consider unnecessary. In this paper, the paper attempted to organize the symptoms of action disorders caused by medial frontal lobe injury from three perspectives: (1) simplicity and complexity of the action disorder, (2) ease of utilizing preserved functions, and (3) awareness of the disorder. Based on these three perspectives, the paper discusses clues to rehabilitation for the behavioral disorders caused by medial frontal lobe damage that affect daily life. |
