Abstract |
Dressing disability is a disorder caused by a variety of neuropsychological symptoms. In this paper, we reconsidered dressing disability from the viewpoints of "action and praxis mechanisms" and "spatial cognition mechanisms".
"action and praxis mechanisms" are errors related to the actual operation of clothes and the checking and correction of the clothes during the operation. "spatial cognition mechanisms" are errors related to the perception of the parts of clothes and the body, and the cognition of the relationship between clothes and body.
In addition, this paper presents a case in which two mechanisms were factors. Neuropsychological symptoms associated with dressing disorders were frequently observed USN and construct disorders. And there were many lesions mainly in the parietal lobe of the right hemisphere damage. There are many factors that contribute to the dressing disorder, and no certain conclusion can be drawn. However, it is clear that it is a disability that should be understood as a "syndrome". |
