Abstract I reviewed my experience to clarify the status of children with acquired brain injury for further care. Causes, way of evaluation and rehabilitation to higher brain dysfunction in children were described. Higher brain dysfunction during early childhood and adolescence were also described.
Moreover, higher brain dysfunction due to acquired brain injury was compared with developmental disorders such as autistic spectrum disorder and attention deficit hyperactive disorder.
Good programs to support higher brain dysfunction and family care are the keys to better outcome.
