Abstract The brilliantness of neuropsychology has been losing by slow degrees. Neuroradiological development has changed the role of neuropsychologists. Most of the neurologists are chiefly engaged to find the cause of the disease of the patients. In order to activate the neuropsychology, the author stated his opinion about the neuropsychological examination and research. Although the neuropsychological tests are objective and digitized, the interview with the patient is most important for the neuropsychologists. The author stressed that the interview is like a play in which the examiner and the patient have their role interchangeably. The play has no scenario. The play proceeds like a chain of events ideally. The examiner does not hasten to conclude the patient's neuropsychological symptom. The examiner has to keep the feeling of incomprehensibleness of the symptom in order to understand it well. And the examiner should try to view the patient with empathy. Next the author discussed how to carry out the neuropsychological research. At first, the researchers had better select the theme up to date. When the theme is related to what the researchers have had interested in from child up, they can dedicate themselves to the study heart and soul. Sometimes the researchers have to challenge the basics of neuropsychology. And the researchers are encouraged to make a generalization of their theories in great measure. At last the researchers require to having their own general theory that covers all the domains of the research.
