Abstract Neuropsychology deals with higher brain functions such as cognition, memory, language, behavior, and their disturbances, namely, aphasia, agnosia, apraxia, and so on. Also, in addition to the aspect of neurology, it has the aspect of psychology which is a science of work of mind; cognition and behavior or a science of relation between brain and mind relating to psychiatry. Neuropsychology particularly cognitive neuropsychology has contributed a lot to recent development of neuroscience. We neurologists would like neuropsychology also develop greatly as clinical neuropsychology dealing with patients and diseases. For these purposes, it may become important to identify lesion cites and lesion circuits/network corresponding to psychological processes or psychiatric signs and symptoms as well as to develop treatment for them.
