Abstract Objective: Recently, some investigators have suggested that contexts (i.e., object orientation) can determine prehensile movements when individuals perform actions. However, there are few studies in the literature on cases regarding the symptom described above. Herein, we described the behavior of a patient with right parietal lobe lesions after stroke. She encountered difficulties in demonstrating action selection tasks (proposed by Osiurak, et al., 2008). This study supports several neuroimaging studies, which showed intraparietal lobe is responsible for action selection.
