Abstract We reviewed history of previous studies on object orientation agnosia and introduced about the relationship between Kakeyu hospital and the impairment. Next, we explained about the transition of terms and translated words, the process of seeking in the award paper, and the progress of subsequent research. In particular, we raised the argument whether object orientation agnosia is quantitative or qualitative impairment, and we described that we made newly created Kakeyu object orientation agnosia test PC version, its composition, and impression actually applied to the clinical situation. Finally we presented the results of a case with object orientation agnosia and briefly discussed about it.
